Welcome to Emmotland Ponds
Emmotland Ponds are a well established fishing complex with mature trees and wonderful countryside in a quiet location.
Since 2002 a great deal of work has gone into improving the fishery, introducing new Carp, Wels Catfish, major pond alterations and creating a well stocked coarse/match pond.
The complex consists of 3 well stocked carp, catfish and pike lakes as well as the coarse pond in the heart of the Yorkshire wolds away from the black smoke and concrete jungles of inner cities.
The site offers toilets and showers, tackle shop and meal provisions (full English breakfast, varied evening meal menu and vegetarian menu. (All can be booked in advance on 07812 943780)
Rules:-
- Barbless or crushed barbs only
- No lead core
- No braid on main line
- European unhooking mats compulsory
- Minimum 15lb line on carp ponds
- No fixed rigs
- No Nuts
- No sacking
- No Dogs
- No unattended Rods
- No fires
- No children under 14 unless accompanied by an adult
Pond 1 - 6 bookable pegs, 3 rods max. Carp 40lbs+, cats to 25lbs, pike to 20lbs
Pond 2 - 7 bookable pegs, 3 rods max. Carp 30lbs+, cats to 60lbs, pike to 20lbs
Pond 3 - at present has 5 pegs (undergoing major alterations work 2010). Carp to 30lbs, cats to 25lbs
Pond 4 - Coarse pond. Carp, Tench, Barbel, Ide, Bream, Roach, Perch. 25 pegs available for bookable matches
24 hour bookings on carp ponds run from 12 noon to 12 noon

£20.00 for 24 hours on all carp ponds
£5.00 for 1 rod, £7.00 for 2 on Coarse Pond
